This is newsletter number 100.
I've numbered these from the beginning. Honestly, a little selfishly. The numbers keep me accountable. When you see the count going up each week, it's harder to skip one.
I read something once about Jerry Seinfeld and his process. He sits down every day with a yellow legal pad and writes jokes for an hour. He says 99% of them are terrible. But that 1%? That's where the gold is.
My hope is that there's been some gold in here for you over these 100 weeks.
I know for me, just the process of showing up consistently has been 80% of the battle. Some weeks it flows. Some weeks I'm staring at a blank screen on Friday night wondering what I have to say. But I show up. And I think that's what most of this comes down to.
I try to teach what I'm learning. Not perfectly. Just honestly. A little nugget. A visual that hits. A quote that makes you think. Maybe a story that reminds you you're not alone in the fight.
I know reading something matters. Even if it's just a few minutes on a Saturday morning. And it's a privilege to be in your inbox each week. I don't take that lightly.
This whole journey has taught me so much. About writing. About speaking. About facilitation and coaching. About building a business. About myself.
It hasn't been for the faint of heart. There are great days and hard days. Moments where I feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be and moments where I wonder what I'm doing. But I wouldn't want it any other way.
Who knows. Maybe there's a book in here somewhere with the visuals and quotes and essays. I have no idea. But the process of doing the work each week has been the real gift.
I never want to be too salesy or pitchy with anything I invite you into. But I do believe there's depth in doing the work. In being in the arena. In staying curious and keeping your hand raised.
So here's what I'd ask of you this week.
If something has resonated over these 100 weeks, I'd love to hear about it. What landed? What do you want me to write about more? What's been helpful?
Reply to this email. I read every one.
And if you're new here, welcome. If you've been here since the beginning, thank you!
Either way, I'm glad you're here.
Keep showing up. Do the work. Let the wins stack. Good things happen.
Here's to the next 100!
